Chamois in summer
Chamois in summer is the ideal place for authentic contact with the mountain in all its forms.
Hiking fans can choose from simple walks and an entire day.
A short walk you can reach Lake of Lod, equipped with a dedicated area for picnics. And for everyone are also the traditional settlements ("hameaux"), scattered throughout the valley.
With longer routes you can go up to the shrine of Clavalitè, in a panoramic position, or the step of Nana, which overlooks the Valley of Champoluc.
Pleasant itineraries in part lead to the Magdeleine, south, and Valtournenche, heading north. Another route is very scenic trail that leads to Cheneil and that is part of the "big balcony of the Matterhorn".

Chamois is part of the Alpine pearls project, which meets alpine resort of 6 nations, engaged in the development of environmentally friendly transport and sustainable kinds of tourism. To this was given strong impetus to the use of bicycles, particularly mountain bike.
